What Bison Charter is

Bison Charter is a marketplace that connects customers who need a charter bus with independent, third-party operators. Bison Charter is not a carrier. We do not own, lease or operate any vehicle, and we do not employ any driver. Every trip is run entirely by the operator you choose, and that operator — not Bison Charter — is responsible for the vehicle, the driver, all applicable permits and insurance, and the safe completion of your trip.

Estimates vs. quotes

The price shown when you submit a request is an estimate only, based on distance and driver time. It is not binding. The price an operator quotes you is the real, binding price for your trip, subject to the terms that operator gives you.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate trip details, passenger counts and contact information.
• Review and agree to the individual operator's terms before accepting a quote.
• Pay the operator directly for the trip (and any deposit, once online deposits are available).

Operator vetting

We review each operator's business registration, operating authority and insurance before approving them, and again each year. This review does not make Bison Charter a party to the transportation contract between you and the operator, and does not guarantee the operator's performance.

Limitation of liability

Bison Charter is not liable for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, property damage or personal injury caused by an operator, its driver or its vehicle. Your recourse for any issue with the trip itself is with the operator who ran it.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
